Perfect spot right off of Eyre Square and within easy walking distance of the bus depot. I had left a scarf (borrowed from my daughter) in the hotel and reception was kind enough to hold it for me until my return sweep back. Lovely staff. Rooms can get a tad warm in the summer so make sure you ask for a fan or get an air conditioned room.
We had a lovely stay. This was our second stay in this hotel and we will be back.
This was a great stay, very centrally located and easy to get to the CityLink and the square for all sorts of activity. I would suggest when booking try to book specific location. We arrived for an extended stay and preferred a higher floor but did not pre-book. Once we were moved on the second day, it was a grand stay.
Enjoyed our two nights here. Accommodations were basic, but clean. Water pressure in the shower was excellent and the room was well heated. Our room didn't have any decaf coffee when we arrived. Front desk informed us that the hotel had run out. However, plenty was found and delivered to the room the following morning. Friendly and efficient. The T.V. was a little confusing (need to punch in 001 to make it work). A sticker on the top of the set would have been helpful. Overall, I would recommend the Eyre Square Hotel in Galway.
